At Three Rivers Accommodation Mundubbera, we offer more than just a place to stay we offer a true connection to the rivers, landscape and community that make this region so special.
Our name and logo are inspired by the Australian Lungfish, an extraordinary and ancient freshwater fish found naturally in the Burnett River system. A living survivor from the age of the dinosaurs, the lungfish has called these waters home for millions of years. With its rare ability to breathe air and a lifespan that can extend close to a century, it symbolises resilience, longevity and a deep connection to place. As a nationally protected species, the lungfish also reminds us of the importance of caring for the waterways that sustain both local life and livelihoods.
